Openface was a proud sponsor of the NSEC https://www.nsec.io/ competition again this year.
This security contest is a CTF type of competition (CTF stands for Capture The Flag). The 2015 edition was held from May 22nd to May 24th in Montreal and opposed 32 teams of 8 participants each. Each team needed to accumulate as many points as possible by completing various challenges. Capturing a flag meant finding secret messages hidden in puzzles covering multiple security fields ranging from reverse engineering to networking and hardware hacking.
Participants had access to the challenges through a private network setup for the competition. Openface provided a fiber optics Internet connection. The network’s password? OpenfaceRocks!
